Provincial Team Coach (MTB & Road) – Cycling Nova Scotia

Cycling Nova Scotia is seeking an experienced and motivated Provincial Team Coach to lead its Mountain Bike and Road High-Performance and Development programs. The role focuses on supporting Nova Scotian athletes as they progress toward national and international competition, in partnership with the Canadian Sport Institute Atlantic (CSI Atlantic).
The Provincial Coach will plan and deliver athlete training programs, lead camps and competition projects, and work closely with the CNS Executive Director and High-Performance Committee to execute the organization’s high-performance plan.
Salary: Approximately $60,000 per year (full-time, based on funding)
Employment Term: Funding secured through March 2027 (renewal pending program success)
Key Qualifications
- NCCP Competition-Development certification in Cycling
- Experience coaching or competing at the national or international level (e.g., Canada Cups, Nationals, Canada Games)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel within Canada and internationally
- Understanding of Cycling Canada’s athlete-development model
